There are many pros to this sofa. Fabrics are great, bases are sturdy (we are not small people) and it was easy to assemble. The smell of the cushions was rough, it is the broken up foam inside the pillows and for the bases it is a 32x3” square topped with the broken foam pillow. There are base covers that go over the frames then the slipcovers.
The anabei sofa is so uncomfortable! The pillows are lumpy and it's hard to adjust filling without feeling/seeing the lumpy areas. I actually went and laid back on the old sofa and would rather use the broken one than spend another second on the anabei one. I couldn't even go 3 minutes on the Anabei sofa without feeling some back pain/uncomfort.
The fabrics are very well made, easy to assemble and very sturdy. However, it is uncomfortable to lay on. The way the bars are not even with the center part of the setup, you can feel them. The cushions are super fluffy, but not enough to fix feeling those bars.

It looks much cheaper in person as well. Didn't buy a couch from them (especially not after reading this thread) but wanted to share my experience browsing the site during black Friday season. Right off the bat they say the 2-seater Bondi is discounted from $6000+ to $3300. Outrageous numbers already for a 2 seater.
I'm thinking of budgeting around $2K - 4K. Based on my research so far, my list include Lovesac sactional, West Elm Harmony, Burrow nomad, and lower-priced Belffins and Honbays available on Amazon. On Reddit, there are many people recommending Crate & Barrel and Room & Board too.

We just bought a new house and needed furniture. We purchased a dining set with buffet, table, chairs, a wine curio and chairs for the counter in the kitchen.
Anyone own a Joybird sofa? I'm so close to taking the plunge on a Joybird sectional, but I'm balking a bit at the price. With couch, warranty, delivery, and tax it'll come out to $3066. I love the look of it, have already tested the fabric swatch I have, and read copious reviews.
