    Then click on View more devices. Then scroll down and click on More Devices and Printer Settings. Then I right click on my headphones icon and go to Properties. Then go to the Services tab and Uncheck the Handsfree Telephony option. After unchecking this, my headphones work in MS Teams!!

    Recently I tried connecting my gen 1 Sony Gold wireless headset to my Surface Pro 6 via dongle. It installed just fine, was recognized right away, and I am able to hear sound and use the mic, but my mic volume is extremely low. I've maxed all settings for it and the input volume is averaging 10-12% when talking normally (see screenshots).

    Look at the manual under "Connection Mode" for pairing instructions. You could also try activating the "Voice Assistant" (see manual) as this uses the Microphone and may force Windows to see the mic. When pairing, see if you get multiple options of pairing...like Headphones and another option for Headset.

    I have a Bluetooth headset with mic which works with my phone, and my other computer. When I connect to Windows 10 the speakers (headphones) work but the mic does not. The headset is paired with Bluetooth (headphones work). The device is listed under recording devices, enabled and is the default headphone and default headset.
