Sony has recently released the new noise-cancelling true wireless sound earphones WF-1000XM3 and I've had the pleasure of attending the experience event for this product just this past week at Tokyo. The WF-1000XM3 is the latest member to Sony's wide range of wireless audio products, taking over its predecessor, the WF-1000X. Do not be fooled by the "M3" labelling, which insinuates a 3rd generation product, the WF-1000XM3 is actually a second gen successor.

3. Location. Italy. My new Sony WF 1000 XM3 make a continous background white noise (a very light "sssss") while the noise cancellation processor is on and music is not playing. It can be normally heard only in a quiet room, but it is very annoying. The noise goes away when I turn noise cancellation off (ambient noise control off).
Cons: 1. Stock tips are trash. 2. Touch control is a bit too sensitive but not a dealbreaker. 3. Can be uncomfortable with the stock tips. extremely comfy with final E type and SONY hybrids though. Specs and official-looking renders of the WF-1000XM5 earbuds have appeared online. Looks much smaller and more comfortable than XM4. The Sony WH-1000XM3 is the third iteration of the original Sony MDR-1000X. At the time the 1000X was released, I hesitated between this one and the Sennheiser Momentum M2, and finally went for the latter. Finally, three years later, I got the 1000XM3 as I wanted a good pair of noise-cancelling headphones for work and travelling.
I've tried the WF-1000XM3 with a Spinfit CP145 (Nozzle is a little too large, it seals but it's a little loose, but it's what I had on hand. I think the CP100 would be a perfect fit.) and it definitely creates a better, more comfortable seal on the inside.
