A couple theories actually. The first is, maybe Dec. 21st 2012 REALLY was legit and we all died as a result. But whatever happened may have been instantanious, leaving us unaware of our destruction. Now we are living our lives out within some weird messed up purgatory where logic and normals are skewed.

Yeah 2011 was a normal year but in 2012 things got darker and more degenerate and around 2015-2016 it feels like we shifted into a different reality where there are different social norms, rules and interactions now.
