    After searching through quite a few fonts in the Character Map, I was able to find the white star and black star under several different fonts. One of the larger and nicer looking sets of stars can be found in the MingLiU font (below), characters, U+2605 ★ and U+2606 ☆.

    I received your guidance on getting a "CHECK" mark when using ALT +251 and I currently get a 1. I checked and Num Lock is enabled on my keyboard. Regarding the ALT codes you mentioned, I did some researches and I‘d like to confirm whether you are referring to insert special code, for example the "euro sign", you can insert this symbol by pressing and holding the ALT key and type “0” “1” “2” “8” in Word client but this doesn't work in Teams chat?

    I can use Alt + F4 and Alt+Tab so I know they keys are working and getting recognized but when I try to do things like Alt+2 or Alt+-(to get an em dash) I cant; get anything to show. I tried adjusting the RegEdit, Num Lock on mouse setting and tried different installed keyboards, and made sure the sticky and filter keys were turned off.

    When I first used Windows 10, my computer was able to produce a standard e with an accent over it when I typed Alt + 130. It somehow changed after a while, so I played along, learning that Alt + 0233 was the code, and using that instead. After a while of not using the alt codes, I returned today to find that nothing works.
