Galaxy. The Galaxy portal is the starting point for working in the Orion system, Gemini FMS and Gemini HCM. It also provides links to other services such as email and eLearning.
Students and former students may order official transcripts by signing in to Orion through the Galaxy webpage. If you don’t have Orion access, use the former student reactivation form to regain access to Orion temporarily. For more information, visit the Registrar’s transcript page.

Students should always use the Orion link. Faculty performing academic functions (like submitting grades, viewing class rosters, etc.) should also use the Orion link in Galaxy. Staff accessing HR or finance data should use the Gemini link in Galaxy.
At UTD, the entire PeopleSoft collection of services is called Galaxy, with each component having its name. The Campus Solutions component has been dubbed Orion, and the combination of Human Capital Management and Financial Management systems is called Gemini.

Students who have access to Galaxy may print end-of-semester grades from their Orion > Self Service > Student Center. To see if grades have been posted to the academic record: Go to Galaxy; Log in to Orion with your netid and password; On your UTD Student Center Homepage, Click the ‘My Academics’ tile; Select “View My Grades” from the menu
UTD’s online students have access to the same resources as on-campus students. In this section, you will find important information on technical requirements, online services, and links to course resources. Instructors may post course materials via eLearning, an online course management system.
