Wayfair is a Comenity card, how do your scores look? Comenity seems to approve most often in the mid-600s and up. Sometimes lower, sometimes higher (actual credit cards as opposed to store cards require higher scores). The Wayfair card is a store credit card so it should be easier to get. If you want to check for preapproval, look up the SCT here.

I've never had a problem with billing or chargebacks. Just buy all the protection you can with the CC or with an additional service plan, you never know what quality you'll get with Wayfair, could be a totally perfectly fine couch with zero issues, or could be bug ridden and shipped to the wrong house.

I hadn't applied for a card in awhile (a year i think?), so I did a temp unfreeze on my credit and applied, expecting to get approved right away and get my discount.
