Planet Fitness is full of machine hogs who sit a water bottle on a machine then walk around and visit or play with the phone. If some1 uses the machine in tbe meanwhile r only too eager to pounce and say the machine is in use. What is needed is a use it or lose it policy. Also a 5 minute limit on the more popular machines during busy hours.
Give up alcohol and as much sugar as you can for a while. Cut back on starchy carbs. Make sure you get *plenty* of protein so you don't lose muscle mass; you might even want to drink protein shakes or eat Atkins bars. Although fat has a lot of calories, it doesn't matter so much (in reason) because it is satiating.
I live in an area that rains more days than not. I find this membership to be worth it. I travel for work and it’s easier to find a planet fitness than anything else. It's $10/month. For me that's worth it even if all you do is run on the treadmill instead of outside when the weather's bad. If you go, yes.
Looks like prices are going up for some PF starting 2024. If you look at earlier posts, people are reporting $14.99/month. I signed up yesterday to lock in the $10/month price. Rates will be changing in my club on the 29th. That's a good deal. Prices are going up to $14.99 a month. It's a slow roll out for that.
The Black Card does let you visit any PF gym, but since you want to work out every day after your shift, the 10 times visits limit could be a problem. You could try and talk to the staff at your home gym and explain your situation—they might make an exception for you.
This decision was because of the Covid pandemic. 24 hour fitness was closing at 9. Planet Fitness stayed open till 12 and some were still 24/7. It was way cheaper than any other gym. 10 dollars a month, for 20 dollars they give you a buddy pass and access to their tanning beds. It's different based on those aren't planet fitness. We have different procedures to make sure things go correctly. Canceling in club or via mail, also allows us the opportunity to let you know about cancelation fees if they apply, and if there are any dues on the account. It also allows us to make sure it's you canceling. Legally.
