Earlier there was a post here with some rumours about the LA Fitness in Kitchener closing down due to property leasing issues between the owner and the owner of the land, after heading in today I can confirm that the LA Fitness will be permanently closing at the end of the month.

Fyi, I was dubious about this, since the LA Fitness I wanted to frequent was not on their website. Joined Active and Fit anyway, but that location could not process me. I had to drive to an LA fitness that was on their website, get my LA membership card and then I could get into my desired gym. A fine point but worth mentioning, I think!

Solid question. I have LA separately (any gym and it IS a different price tier) so I just use their QR code. I travel to markets that don’t have LA, so I’m anxious to see how this gym pass thing works. Supposedly I get access to 24 hour fitness and crunch for free, which will get me out of paying for day passes when I travel.
