The Kindle Cloud Reader is working. But I need the features of the old Kindle PC application. The books appear to download after a fresh PC Restart. That is, they are counted in the list of Downloaded books. However, the books reported as downloaded cannot be opened. It took an hour with Amazon support to get to this point.

I also downloaded the security upgrade when I first started WMP. I've tried deleting the files and downloading them a second time, and that didn't work either.
