Report abuse. Three features come to mind: 1) Highlight, accessible from the Ribbon's Home tab. Select the text in question and apply "None." 2) Shading, accessible from the main menu bar's Format > Borders and Shading, which can be applied to selected text or to the whole paragraph. Cancel it by selecting "No Fill."
Click in the paragraph [if more than one select them all] then go to Format> Borders & Shading (or use the Page Borders button next to Page Color) to select No Fill on the Shading panel. If that doesn't do it... Cut that content then use Edit> Paste Special - Styled Text or Unformatted Text to paste it back in.
if you just keep clicking on pictures and making every picture but the one you want to delete the background, it will move to the right. when it is all the way over to the right search for another picture and make it the background. The picture you wanted to delete will be gone. Then go back to what you want as the background.

The 'remove background' is not available in the office.com-accessible version of Word. Whenever I right click it, it takes me somewhere else instead of the usual options like deleting it. Also I try to drag it do the recycle bin it doesn’t do anything. I also tried to check my desktop files which shows all the thing on my desktop and it doesn’t appear there as well. So that’s how I’m stuck on how to remove this application.
