POF just discontinued Live! for those of us on laptops. Up to today I had been able to log on to Live! and chat with people hosting Meet Me! channels on my laptop. Today I get a notice saying several terms and conditions have changed. Then I click on Live and it demands I download the POF app to my already app-crowded phone.

POF has a definite quantity vs quality issue, but my best friend met her now-husband on it, and I met a guy on it recently who I've been seeing for about a month now and it's been going well so far. Before that I had one other long term relationship from POF and I've had lots of dates that weren't "the one," but they were perfectly nice people.
Otherwise BCM makes the best Carbines that aren't Knights. POF makes toys and DD brings nothing to the table that BCM doesn't do better for less money. Jul 9, 2023. #1. I bought a 308 POF rogue, it shot like shit. Tried 15 different bullets and reloaded my own. Best I’m getting is 2 MOA. I called them, tried to get a barrel extension so I could buy a match barrel. They wouldn’t sell so I bought a barrel from them, spent the 6 weeks and what ended up being almost 500 dollars to get it ...
Re: Updated POF 308 problems. I was just at the range yesterday with my 308 POF and shot some 147 gr nato from southwest ammo. Unfortunately, one of the rounds is now stuck and the charging handle won't go back. I should have never tried to put the bcg back onto it.

I'm looking at possibly picking up one of their gas piston firearms and just curious what the community thinks about them. Video reviews all seem glowing but I'd prefer to know the cons instead.
You get the full ambidextrous controls, billet upper/lower, adjustable gas block, tighter tolerances, a coated BCG and generally everything is slightly higher spec. It's also a 16" rifle-length gas system. According to POF, the Rogue twist rate is designed for higher weight bullets so that may be a consideration for you.
