It seems like most of the rightoid bitching isn’t so much that American McDonald’s ads are actually left-wing (which would mean advocating for better pay for workers and respect for the working class), but rather they’re angry, because Latinos and Black people and teh Gheys are in US advertising.

Just a real pro tip: eating, with any consistency, at McDonald's - app or not - is not frugal. It may potentially save some money in the short term, but has a high risk of increasing spending and actually costing a lot in the long term. Penny wise, pound foolish, I believe they say.
McDonald's is still a favorite for me but my husband doesn't like it. Instead about once a week we get whoppers for lunch and it's a short drive back to our waterfront house. I admit I do feel some satisfaction with how things have changed for me, but I never felt shame when I was a kid anyway.
