Just remember to bring a ziplock bag along because the wipes can dry out really fast. And remember to clean the end of your cables frequently so you don’t push junk into the port itself. A old fashioned pencil eraser is a good way of doing this. Just rub it across the contacts. P.

For my iPhone 12 Pro Max last year I charged everyday with the 30W apple charger which maxes out at 22W when the battery is below 50% charge. My battery health was 98% after one year. For my iPhone 13 Pro Max I continue to use the 30W charger everyday but the 13 can now charge at 27W maximum this time around. Still 100% battery health currently.
For the iPhone 12 it looks like you need at least a 20W charger if you want fast charging. If you don’t care about fast charging then you can use less. But yes, based on this I would say that it’s safe to use a higher watt charger and the iPhone will only use what it needs.

But then something happened a few days later when I used the same wall charger + cable with my work iPhone, it did the same thing for the first time! It extends the battery life span. Used a iPhone 20W charger on my iPhone 11 Pro Max and it had 88% of battery capacity within a year. iPhone 12 Pro Max running strong. heat kills battery, fast charge also kills battery due to high voltage.
Apr 26, 2021. #1. So my launch date iPhone 12 Pro is now at 94% battery health. It sat at 100% for months after buying but since using a Magsafe charger the last 2.5-3 months, the battery health has dropped 6%. When I owned the iPhone 11 Pro last year, I saw a similar more rapid decline of battery health once I started using a wireless charger.
