NGC 828 is a spiral galaxy in the constellation of Andromeda. Its velocity with respect to the cosmic microwave background is 5118 ± 17 km/s, which corresponds to a Hubble distance of 75.49 ± 5.29 Mpc (∼246 million light-years). [1] It was discovered by German-British astronomer William Herschel on 18 October 1786.
