Sony is having a season huh? Accidental bans Revocation of bought Discovery content (postponed for 30 months) Insomniac hack PSN Download outage Removing PS4->PS5 upgrades when PS+ lapses Not granting PS stars to many users Granting infinite Stars to others And now a dreaded "This item from...
I reluctantly will. I sold my launch PS5 and XSX earlier this year, but now need a console to play College Football 25. Doesn't make sense to get a PS5 Slim when the Pro is coming out and the XSX isn't on sale (but also almost redundant since I now play on PC with my GPU sub). So no real passion for it, just that it's the logical choice.
Amazon and PlayStation direct saved the day for getting PS5 day 1. Granted amazon website was a shit show, I had to get a link from twitter to be able to buy from amazon, I never actually saw the PS5 for sale on amazon.
Yeah, I know a lot of people who are super hyped for it. In fact, I sold my Series S to a family member yesterday because it was a cheap way for him to play the new game. I haven't touched the S since building a new PC in November, so it worked out well for me. I'll probably put some of that money towards a PS5 copy myself lol.
Even though I have a Series X and Game Pass Ultimate I voted PS5, but that's largely dependent on whether it's a noticeably better experience on PS5 Pro. Also, whether I like the game at all after trying it on Game Pass obviously and whether I want to go for the platinum trophy or just play the story.
These are not "reasonably priced"! The cheap mini-PC all use integrated graphics on older ryzen (5000 series). Honestly that make something like the Rog Ally on sale (<$400) look pretty good with its 7800u equivalent. But then you can probably find those mini-PCs for $200 or something.
No, only recently purchased a PS5 Slim and couldnt possibly justify a Pro, Im only interested in a one or two AAA games per year that actually benefit from the higher specs and frankly marginally better performance or framerate isnt a strong enough sell for me.
I got excited. I didn't even think there are many PS5s for sale out there even by scalpers. I found the price okay. Since it's only 88 bucks (Canadian) more than retail (after taxes $712). So stupid me, offered to buy both: The (Asking $200) camera lens and the PS5 (Asking $800) granted the guy offered me a good deal on both.
And no one needs PS5 like hardware to play PS5 games, the minimum gpu for Wukong did cost <200€ 6(!) years ago the cpu <100€ 5 years ago. And then you have a huge used market that throws old stuff at you. The minimum amount of money you need to have for a used PC that at least plays some new stuff can't be reached by any console, not even ...
Yep. Got myself a hackable PS5 two months ago. I looked meticulously over Ebay listings, photos, model numbers, serial numbers and messaged sellers and managed to get a brand new sealed PS5 Digital on firmware 3.00 (highest hackable firmware is 4.51).
