The best solution is to open Whatsapp web in Google Chrome. Then go to the 3 dot menu -> Save and Share -> Install Whatsapp Web. This saves the Whatsapp web as an individual application that will have its own dock icon and work exactly as the old Whatsapp. Give it a try, it's a great solution. (75) Leopold80.
Open the Windows Task Manager. You can do this by pressing Ctrl + Shift + Esc together or by right-clicking on the taskbar and selecting "Task Manager". In the "Processes" tab of Task Manager, look for "WhatsApp" in the list of running applications. Right-click on the WhatsApp process and select "Open File Location" from the dropdown menu.
Whatsapp on desktop because it feels more "Native" to the computer and is an actual App, if you know what I mean. Not that whatsapp needs strong computing power I just prefer actual apps than web apps.
