When I put my earbuds in pairing mode and bring up the bluetooth menu on my laptop, they come up as an option for connecting. When I click on them, the menu just says "connecting..." forever. I don't know what to try, any sugestions?

In bluetooth settings I am able to pair without issue: Selecting them launches a bluetooth menu that then says they're connected. When this allegedly happens I get no indication on the headphone side that they are actually paired.
