   You need to know both of those things in order to find the resolution of the image. For example, an image which is 3,000 pixels wide, printed at 10 inches, is 300 pixels per inch in resolution (3,000/10 = 300). Generally, over about 270 pixels per inch is considered "high resolution". Hope this helps. Reply reply.
