Good grief this launcher is garbage. This is old post but i came here with the same problem. I had to reinstall the Epic Games Store and all of my games were unistalled with it. I'm mad and depressed at the same time. August 2023 , uninstalling launcher automatically deletes all games.
Choose one of the longer numbered folders Then go pfx/drive_c/program files (x86) If you see a folder for epic games or the launcher, delete the entire long numbered folder from the compatdata folder. Trying to reinstall Epic Games Launcher. Previously installed on 2nd HD (E:) which died. Unsurprisingly I can't uninstall it because the drive doesn't exist.
