I have found the easiest way is to build it on the desk using Menu > Patch > Fixture Types > Insert New Fixture Type. You can edit that and create the definition for your fixture. At this point you are best patching something similar and editing it to see how it all works . Most of the work you will do is in DMX modes tab, while the Models and ...
Not surprised by this, but those players are not supposed to be in MA3. MA3 should be players that cannot consistently drive 300 feet per PDGA rules. Man, the rating cutoff for ma3 is 900. No one's getting to 900 rated only throwing 200-300 feet and making 4-6 out of 10 putts from 20 feet as the PDGA guide states.
MA3 console purchase advice - Fullsize vs Lite. So my system is finally getting some much-needed CapEx budgeting in 2023 - new LED Light Engine fixtures vs our aging Mac Viper movers, upgrades in all networking infrastructure (everything is still ancient Cisco Catalyst 100base-T switches), AND a move to MA3. The PM is asking me what I want for ...
Im currently getting myself to know ma3 as I have access to a console at a venue. Obviously I got the onPC software to work from home as much as possible. Recently while goofing around with Unreal Engine 5 I found out about the DMX plugins that allow you to input DMX data and control virtual lights in Unreal. For visualization purposes I tried ...
MA3 is a launching pad for a lot of people to find out their skill level relative to other players. This means guys who could be in MA2 usually end up playing in MA3 for a few months, which makes the ability spread within the division one of the largest in the sport. To win MA3 in my area you have to average around 910-rated play.
2. MA2 is out there and even for all of the MA3 hardware I see in the wild, it always seems to be running in 2 mode. (If you aren't aware, The MA3 hardware has a mode to run the MA2 software.) When you go to start transitioning to the 3 you'll have a stronger background on the MA philosophy and you'll only have to learn what's new.
As with most things in MA3 there are many ways to do this and it all depends on how you personally want to do it. Until you figure out your personal workflow, try this one: Create a sequence with each cue being a different movement phaser eg Cue 1 Pan, Cue 2 Tilt, Cue 3 Circle etc etc. Make sure tracking is turned off for this sequence. You can ...
It tends to be a mix of older players from MA3, MA2, and MA1. I'd recommend you start with the MA3 division. Play well there and decide after your first tournament if you should move up or go for the Masters divisions. I'm a MA40 eligible player and play in MA2 typically and finish in the upper third of that division, and if I played in MA40 in ...
On the flip side, if you are crushing the competition at every tournament in MA3, easily winning by multiple strokes, or if you are finishing with scores that are competitive with/better than the top 5-10/leaders in the higher divisions, and/or are consistently shooting 900+ rated rounds in MA3 in between the monthly ratings update, then ...
