In fact, the Scott catalog value is shown in italics, suggesting that it is of such scarcity that it should be accompanied by an expertising certificate to validate its authenticity.
Their value is quite minimal. Less than the cost of a current stamp to mail them to someone. That said, they are mounted too early in the album. Note that your two stamps have triangles in the upper corners, while the album illustrations do not. Your stamps should match the next group in your album, likely dated 1894-something.
My mother handed me various items from my childhood yesterday and included in that package was a group of 2-cent Washington embossed stamped envelopes. I do not know how to identify which stamp it is and what the value may be. I read in another online forum that some of these envelopes have "US" and a date embossed on the envelope as well.

Added: CV for a full pane of 634d is even less … $1.50 for unused, $2.50 for never hinged. But once again, this assumes VF condition. The 595 will have the same design dimensions as the common coil stamp scott#599. It is wider than the 554, wider than the 634 & 634A, but the same as the 579. You have to be careful if the stamp has one straight edge, because the 554 booklet pane stamp sometimes has a wide appearance. The easiest measuring stick is to take a 599 coil and cut it ...
