I have the same issue with mine - the microphone works fine with Siri, Front and Rear facing video, but doesn’t work in calls on both speaker and earpiece, FaceTime & voice memos records a flat line and plays a cracking sound. I am thinking it is the bottom microphone that isn’t working, and am hoping it is not logic board.
Options. This is a widely known issue with the iPhone 7/7 Plus models, it has to do with the Audio IC which is a chip on the internal logic board that is prone to failure. The only “fix” would be an experienced technician successfully jumping a pin on the chip using specialized micro-soldering workbench tools.
We've seen this same issue recently with a iPhone 6. The microphones would work fine in voice memos and other apps, however on a phone call the microphones ceased to work. Our solution was as follows. - Remove board. - Remove the shield on the back of the board at the top, the one that just peels off.

Today suddenly my microphone stopped working. When calling, I can hear the other side, but they can’t hear me. Also when I put the phone on speaker they can’t hear me. The strange thing is that when recording a video in the Camera App the microhpone is working, but in Snapchat not. While recording the videos I tested both front and rear camera.
Turn your phone off. Then turn it on again, put pressure on the screen as shown in the image as the phone starts to boot. This will press the audio chip on to the circuit board. If the phone boots normally, it is the the Audio Chip IC. Here is the link to the article as posted earlier.

Options. Did you put the bracket which holds down the battery connector back in place? It should hold the connector in place even if you did not apply adhesive to the battery.
