Whoever said an x86 driver would work was mistaken. Windows on ARM has a translation layer for x86 apps, but drivers have to be native ARM64. If you haven't already tried it, I would suggest possibly giving the Microsoft PCL or Postscript class driver a try. My work has a big Konica Minolta MFP and also has no ARM driver available.
