Ray Charles Robinson (September 23, 1930 – June 10, 2004) was an American singer, songwriter, musician [a] and composer. He is regarded as one of the most iconic and influential musicians in history, and was often referred to by contemporaries as "The Genius". Among friends and fellow musicians he preferred being called "Brother Ray".
Ray started competing in bikini bodybuilding at the age of 16. In the 2015 NPC Colorado State Championships, she won first place in the teenage and class D categories. Ray stopped competing in shows after turning 18, citing the prevalence of performance-enhancing substances in the fitness industry as the reason for her quitting. [5]
