    5Ge is AT&T's marketing term for 'faster LTE, but not really 5G'. When you see "5G", you're connected to a tower with 5G service. When you see "5GE", you're on LTE. As an interesting side note. AT&T got their hands slapped for this. They stopped using 5GE in their advertising, but it still shows up on the phone.
