Expand. Yes the N.Statendam and the Rotterdam are Pinnacle class ships and have Vista Suites in desirable locations (aft and mid-ship), but those don't give the full Suite experience. If you can and choose to afford it, the Signature Suite is the real deal. 1.

After relying on the CC boards so much as I planned our trip, I want to pay it forward by sharing our experiences on our Alaskan cruise aboard HA's Koningsdam. We were a group of 6, ranging from 40-80 in age, and everyone had cruised before, although not with Holland America.

There will be one or two dressier nights where you can wear your more formal clothes if that is your thing. When I retired all of my formal clothes, suites and sport Jackets were gone.
