My 8.5” Hardened Arms upper with Saker 7.62 is stupid quiet with 220 grain subs. Supers are much louder, but the subs are hearing safe FOR ME. OFG. A.

I'm just curious if the velocity loss from the shorter barrel makes a significant difference in destructive power, or if it won't make much difference because 556 vs 50 comparisons are apples to oranges. Maybe 3000ish fps is a magic number for penetration, or maybe the projo size makes up for it. I don't know.
