Re: Rock River 308 Varmint? OOPS, I meant to say Ballistic Tips, not partitions. Sorry about that. The Ballistid Tips are much better!!

  3. What are your experiences with short-barreled 7.62 x 39 guns?

    www.snipershide.com/shooting/threads/what-are-your-experiences-with-short...

As the title states, I am looking for people's experiences with short barreled 7.62 x 39 guns. I have been narrowing it down to either a Galil Ace pistol or a PWS mk11, although saving up for a Kreb's ak-47 pistol isn't completely excluded either. I don't "operate" or hunt so it would primarily...

  4. 300 Blk Upper ideas needed | Sniper's Hide Forum

All that to say - even with the best loads and best suppressor, your suppressed 300 Blk can not be as quiet as you claim, unless yours is magic. Perspective from shooting in a quieter area, and with other suppressed subsonic guns and loads, will probably change your stance on that.

  6. Range Report Best 5.56 AR Match Ammo - Sniper's Hide

    www.snipershide.com/shooting/threads/best-5-56-ar-match-ammo.6924681

I have shot Mk262 clones for as long as I have had my SPR build. Usually that means Black Hills Re-manufactured 77grain BTHP. They are good enough for me. I see Fiocchi offers 77grn BTHP for substantially cheaper per round. I have had good luck in the past with their 69grn BTHP. Does anybody...

The MOA-XT reticle is tailor-made for modern shooters and hunters who demand quick and precise aiming using Minutes of Angle (MOA). Its floating center dot serves as an excellent aiming point for accurate shots. The reticle also features 1 MOA marks with clear labels every 2 MOA to help shooters...

  8. Proper Break In - Weatherby Vanguard | Sniper's Hide Forum

    www.snipershide.com/shooting/threads/proper-break-in-weatherby-vanguard.7209106

@jbuck88 nailed it - if this actually mattered, there would be a definitive way to do it as opposed to a bunch of old ladies arguing about which magic rocks have the most important auras... shit, sorry, I meant which break in procedure is the best.

  9. Fieldcraft DIY 'Tannerite' anyone? - Sniper's Hide

    www.snipershide.com/shooting/threads/diy-tannerite-anyone.6386295

I've always been a big fan of shooting at portable propane cans, like the ones we use in our grill. Legalities aside, I think it's a great opportunity to explore Darwin's "Survival of the Fittest" concept or as my old man used to tell me, "Son, when you play stupid games, you win stupid prizes."

  10. Zeroing Range | Sniper's Hide Forum

    www.snipershide.com/shooting/threads/zeroing-range.6955324

And hold it. I get Hunters in my PR Classes all the time, most say they took the class because they missed at a ridiculously close range so they take a class, learn their equipment and hit shit beyond 300, 400 yards right after. magic The military figured this out, they even have rapid target engagement training.

  11. Zero Compromise Optics’ ZC420 MPCT1 Scope Review

    www.snipershide.com/precision-rifle/bigjimfishs-review-of-the-zero-compromise...

There was a good boil going all around the target and the target was bending and doing a dance through the other scopes I had on hand (S&B was not one of these), but with the ZCO the target itself was totally clear and motionless. It was like magic. Mirage all around the target but the target itself unaffected.
