Handy features indeed. Number lock is there as additional security to keep the number from porting out. If someone tries to steal your number, the lock keeps it from happening, or at least gives you time to try to stop the port. The transfer pin was enabled to reduce fraudulent ports and its worked.

Call Verizon Tech Support. I had an issue porting out a number because I ported out the master account number first without assigning a new delegate. I was not able to get a Number Transfer Pin through the web interfaces because it was waiting for the number I already ported out to approve it.

If you inputted the wrong number on activation/port request you will need to try to redo it from start. If that fails you will need to contact Mint mobile support who will need to make a 3 way call with you and Verizon so they can update your port request with middle-man iconnectiv NPAC as ports get stuck with them if the info doe not match ...
It won’t let me transfer the number because of the port lock I have on Straight Talk, but I also do not see anywhere I can insert that on Verizon’s end to help me out. I have tried calling numerous 1-800 numbers to no avail.
