Upon dissassembly, found main cap bolt threads striped and under tourqued from the remanufacturer. My vote is to stay away and go to a reputible remanufat. in your area.

I requested Timken bearings Set 45 and 47. The kid behind the counter returns with Timken Set 45's in hand and stated that they did not have the Set 47's in stock.

    On the bottom of one of my Autozone receipts-"Warranty excludes damage caused by misuse, abuse, other faulty parts, improper installation or off road, commercial or marine use." If you installed it without the snap ring that would be considered 'improper installation'.

    They should. I spent most of my life working in auto parts stores and there was never a question on refunding core charges unless the core wasdamaged in some manner that did not permit it being used to remanufacture the item. Cores are actually needed and wanted by remanufacturers who depend upon them to produce their products.

    Joniki. 60 posts · Joined 2022. #6 · Sep 1, 2024. I had a similar problem a while back. My 06 4.0 OPG would drop to 0 when the engine was warm, at and idle and in gear. The oil "sender" is actually a switch. Get a true oil pressure gauge and check the oil pressure. I think some of the parts stores rents them.

I bought a ToughOne from Advanced Auto for $102 using a 30% coupon. Made in China but lifetime warranty.

    I bought the jeep (1990 2.5L Wrangler), I went through it all, and one of many parts I replaced was the slave master and clutch cylinders. (Auto-zone supplied these parts). The new slave cylinder went bad withing a week (50 miles). I got an additional replacement from autozone.
