If you are filing jointly, are certain you entered the correct AGI, and keep getting rejected, you are most likely the victim of the infamous TT Filed Jointly Wrong API bug. TT will probably tell you to file a paper copy and claim this is an IRS issue. It is not. The bug is in TT, and they refuse to acknowledge it.
February 7, 2022 7:09 PM. Reject IND-181-01, refers to the Identity Protection PIN that is issued by the IRS for taxpayers who have experienced identity theft, or are concerned that they may in the future. It is not the same as the self select PIN that you enter just prior to e-filing.

First, get a copy of your 2023 Form 1040 and find the first person listed. (You'll be the only one listed if you filed by yourself.)
