    I have an iPad Air 2, iOS software version 13.6, with 64GB of storage capacity. No matter what I do, the storage is always reported as full. I have deleted apps from the device, offloaded just about all, deleted photos/videos, cleared the Safari history/cache, and moved pretty much all my files to the cloud. The lowest used storage is 62.8GB.

Any other newer iPad model from late 2015 can be upgraded to the latest iPadOS 16.1.1. At this late stage, use of a Mac or Windows PC may be unavoidable.

The iPad Air2 does not support iPadOS16.x. While the iPad Air2 cannot be updated to iPadOS16, your iPad is still supported - and still receives essential security updates.
