Gym Leaders could be considered the bosses of the Pokémon games - we all have to fight them on our way to becoming the Champion. Appropriately, the battles come with orchestral music that fits the drama and adrenaline of the scene. As with every generation, the Gym Leader battle theme has... NovaBrunswick. Thread.

The Kanto leaders by Gen 5 are early 20 Or at least late teens. I mean I assumed they were at least teens by gen 1 so then they would be like 16 or 17 by gen 2 Gen 3/4 from what I hear take place during the time of gen 1 and 2 but Gen 5 is a few years after them all due to the references so maybe late teens early 20s. Not sure on the others at all.

I loved Koga for some reason :P He was underrated from my point of view. While he wasn't exactly the most interesting Kanto Gym Leader, I thought that his Gym puzzle was among the most amusing ones in R/G/B/Y. I just loved the invisible wall set up.

1st: Ice - Give the fire starters an advantage for once. 2nd: Psychic - Give the player a little difficulty early on. 3rd: Steel - Don't know why. 4th: Normal - Just seems like there has to be one. 5th: Dark - We need a dark gym. We just do. 6th: Water - Don't know why. 7th: Fire - They deserve one after gen 4.

Brock because I've seen him so much in the anime that I'm so used to him. Sabrina and Giovanni are also some of my favorites behind Brock. I like how Brock seems all tough and hard in his Gym (as seen in the anime episode where Ash battles him), but outside, he has a softer side and wants to...

Charmander can also learn Metal Claw to deal with this Gym, but only in FR/LG. Sabrina (R/B/Y) - She was a nightmare in Gen 1 (quite literally) due to her overpowered Alakazam, and Psychic types being so broken in this generation. Dark types weren't discovered yet, and Ghost types were useless against her team, despite what the gym guides say ...

Ghost-Type Master. Apr 26, 2015. #15. You'd think that as a gen 2 Ghost gym leader, Morty would have a Misdreavus, but no. He has a bunch of Haunter and a Gengar. To be honest, most of the gym leaders in gen 2 have piss-poor teams. The only ones who don't, to me at least, are Whitney, Pryce, and (kinda sorta) Clair.
