This comes down to the pinout of the mic connector. There probably is a standard within the aviation audio world. If you find it and post it, we can go from there. The 400 mV output should be enough to drive PC speakers that have a small power amp built in. Separate from that, the LM386 is a small speaker amp chip.

Feb 23, 2021. #1. I have put together an overly complicated headset tester with hopes to expand it to a intercom station. But it doesn't work as I wish. No mic audio is audible in the headset. I am using a standard aviation headset David Clark H3312 with a 600ohm load.

This xbox headset consists of a single speaker as the headphone and a microphone. This is fed through a 4-conductor wire; Red= spk+, Blue= spk-, white= mic+, clear= mic-From there it goes to a pcb board which has volume control and mute (speaker and mic respectively). Out of that pcb it goes to a stereo 1/8" mini plug with only 3 wires.

It says: "ESR meter for measuring electrolyte freshness in capacitors without removing them from the circuit board. It is not necessary to discharge the capacitor before measuring, the electronics of the instrument successfully ignores DC voltages up to 400V. Built-in battery, and the instrument comes with an operating manual."

  8. How do I get microphone input from a speaker output?

I’m considering my analog outputs like speaker signals and my analog inputs like microphone signals. So, when I say that I would like to get microphone input from a speaker output, I really mean that I would like to connect analog output to analog USB headset input, and connect USB headset output to the analog input of another device.

All members however can communicate via headset to one another with a mute function on the headset. In our cab their is a Box labeled Spectra with a PTT switch which I assume is for over the air. If I been reading the David Clark website correctly, we need H3000 series headsets or equivalent.

The tester uses 4 NAND gates. The first gate, IC1A, is configured as a simple RC square-wave oscillator, producing about 60KHz on the low range and 6KHz on the high range. The square-wave output is buffered by IC1B and applied to a differentiator formed by R4 and the inductor under test.

Hi!, I m going to do a PSPice simulation for a mic driver circuit which is indeed a part of the codec (W681360) circuit. My purpose is to verify if the electrical frequency response of the audio receive path is OK. How do I model the mic? The mic is installed in a headset. I get the mic...
