Say "FAFSA Application" Say "No" Say "Application Questions" Say "Student" **You will have to have him/her with you** Say "Find FAFSA" Say "No" Say "Agent" Using those prompts I was able to talk to a person twice today (got disconnected first time) where in past I've not been able to get through. Good luck!
Using personal identifiers instead of my login which I used to complete most of my fafsa, and then when that stopped working the mystudentaid app actually let my login work. I do have to say the app is extremely frustrating and I recommend using a tablet to download the app instead of a phone. Hopefully this works for you too!
I’m having the issue with Fafsa about the contributor invitation. I filled out the student section, pretty easy, selected myself as a sophomore during the 2024-2025 fafsa application (I am a current Freshman), and once I reached the contributor section which I selected both my parents as married, filled out their invite information, though I did put both my parents having no SSN option ...
I was just checking my college's finances portal and became aware my FAFSA "hasn't been submitted". I then go to FAFSA website to find the same issue as OP. Lucky timing to check in I guess cause I submitted Feb 20 and it just got "processed" Mar 23 (yesterday).
JNes88. •. SOLUTION: When logged in under the student ID, after filling out the entire FASFA form, when you get to the unsigned signature part, expand all sections, scroll to the bottom, click submit and it will allow the student to sign it. Now when you are on the last step where it is waiting for the parent signature, sign out.
A long chat support on the FAFSA website was fruitless, just different iterations of flush cache /restart browser/ use a different machine/reset password. The address of our kid was multiline listing their dorm -- changed it to our one line home street address and the problem magically disappeared after two weeks of trying.
Delete the FAFSA form under you childs account and go through the process again. When you get to the contributor info, send and invite to the parent with the FAFSA. For the spouse, select the option that they do not have an ssn and then put in their address (you can even use the same email as the other parent) and send them an invite too.
r/financialaid. • 2 yr. ago. [deleted] HELP! FSA account getting stuck on confirm information page. I've been completely unable to access my FAFSA, dashboard or any services associated with my account after I login lately. The website always redirects me to the Confirm Contact Information page (image below), even though I've filled it in 50 ...
I have a login from doing the FAFSA with my daughter 10 years ago. Do I use the same login with my son (High School grad 2025) or do I need to create…
I tried the shorten the name bullshit, didn't work. I tried shortening the address didn't work. What did work was I originally started on my student account with the FAFSA form. I couldn't get the invite link to work and customer service is just dogshit. So, here is what I did. I deleted my FAFSA form on my student account.
