Good evening. My wife recently picked up a "coffee table" book that has many pictures of currently produced shotguns. Anywho, I was flipping through it today and only noted one shotgun in 10-gauge (Remington SP-10), and got to thinking about who still makes them. Personally, I have only one scattergun (Mag-10) in said chambering, but I do like it.
An exellent specimen might bring $600 to the right buyer but they were not made for steel shot and there are no ammo makers making non-tox loads for 3 1/2" now so waterfowlers must reload their own stuff or pay about $5, or more, a shot for the remaining stock of factory loaded ammo. Do not confuse your "Churchill" with an E.J. Churchill.
On 21 May 1870 T W Webley patented a laterally sliding barrel action (No. 1474). In 1875 the firm expanded into 82-84 and 88-89 Weaman Street. In 1877 the firm bought the business of Tipping & Lawden at Constitution Hill, Birmingham. They had a London shop at 17 Woodstock Street which may have stayed open up to 1888.
A 3 dram 1-1/8 oz load is 82.5 grns (I round to 85) of black powder and 1-1/8 oz of shot. 3-1/4 dram 1-1/8oz load is 90 grns of black powder and 1-1/8 oz of shot. 3-3/4 dram 1-1/4oz load is 103 grns (round to 105) of black powder and 1-1/4 oz of shot. Some guys use plastic wad/shotcups in muzzleloaders. They work well in some guns and not in ...

The old mallet operated hand loader will work and they are very durable but super slow. I used one in .410 and 12 gauge when I first tried reloading back in the early 70's but would never ...
The only advantage a 10 gauge slug offers is past 75 yards and even then it is marginal. at 75yards the 12 gauge still has 10 foot pounds on the 10 gauge. given the scenario i would opt for the 12 gauge. it is a more flexable gauge with way more loads avalable. and this shows it has more killin power out to 75 yards. also the smaller diameter ...
Dickson-Falcon 10 Gauge. I purchased a Dickson-Falcon 10 gauge single shot at a gun show today for $150. It has no other markings then Dickson-Falcon and made in spain on the barrel flat. It has a "gold" trigger and some engraving of dogs and birds. I've tried to do some research into it and I can't find anything about it.
Makes reloads a bit difficult cause of the line in the shell hull after firing. But, makes the adapter much more usable than the aluminum Skeeters. If you use 10-20G, or 10-16G I don't think they will have a split casing. Sure can use a lot more ammo thru that 10G. Pairs are $55, sets of 3 combo pairs are $125.
4 posts · Joined 2003. #1 · Jul 10, 2003. Howdy, I am seeking any information available about a 10 Gauge double barrel Mercury Magnum, 32 inch barrel, Model G-1032 made in Spain. In particular I am looking for the year of production and other facts, not really interested in its value (don't ever plan on selling it, my grandfather bought it ...
The 12-gauge shell wouldn't "blow up" the 10-gauge for 2 reasons. They both have the same MAP pressure specifications. No, not exactly. A 3-1/2 inch 10 gauge: 11,000 PSI, a 3-1/2 inch 12 gauge: 14,000 PSI. Anyone that can't be bothered to use the correct ammo for a shotgun wouldn't be bothered by unfolded shell length.
