Tip. I use Canva.com for designing cards. This won't work for actual printing (most likely) but I have been using them for prototypes and it works great. It is super simple and it is easy to duplicate cards and card features. It's free, though you can pay for some perks.
Card Maker is intended to assist in the creation of cards for a game. Cards can be generated using a CSV file as your data (text) source. You can enter all of the pertinent data into a spreadsheet, edit your card layout, then iterate easily without having to go back and change the layout of every card individually.

Feb 9, 2015. Another way to do it is to use Google Drive (Drawings) to make your cards and print them on standard paper at home. I then use penny sleeves and junk cards (I get playing card decks from the dollar store) as backing to test things out before committing to a more permanent method. May be cheaper if you are starting out.

Designer. @pelni. Aug 1, 2017. US Letter (or A4) can hold 3x3 standard cards. Word is the wrong tool. OP is using a hammer to drive in screws. Download Inkscape, create a 2.5x3.5 rectangle, use the Tiled Clones function in the Object menu, set it to 3 columns of 3 objects, and you are done.
Designer. @eekamouse. Mar 26, 2013. For anyone designing a card game, there was a ridiculously amazing app released for the iPad. I whipped up a quick video for it and put it up here on BGG. Just wanted to chime in in the designer forum as I know there are a few folks who will get use out of it.
