Scinde Dawk (Sindhi: سندي ڊاڪ) was a postal system of runners that served the Indus Valley of Sindh, an area of present-day Pakistan.The term also refers to the first adhesive postage stamps in Asia, [1] the forerunners of the adhesive stamps used throughout India, Burma, the Straits Settlements and other areas controlled by the British East India Company. Adil Salahuddin was born in 1944 at Delhi, British India. His parents moved to Lahore, Pakistan when he was two years old. [1] He joined the National College of Arts (NCA), Lahore in 1962, graduating in 1965 in miniature painting. He was a contemporary of, amongst others, Bashir Mirza, Salahuddin Mian and Ahmed Khan.
