Refresh Liguigel is the name of the product and it is sold over the counter. My husband uses this throughout the day and the PM ointment at night. I have found the good prices for both Refresh Liguigel and PM at Bed, Bath and Beyond. Costco's price on Refresh PM is the best I have found. (Fixed the quote format only Phyl )

I use either Refresh PM or Celluvisc gel drops during the day and Refresh PM at night. I tried GenTeal ointment, but it is a bit too runny and just ends up all over my face (whichi really isn't the look I'm going for ). I have a punctal plug which certainly helps, but even with that I have to lube my eye several times a day most days.

I use either the lacrilube or the Refresh PM at night and that works pretty well for me. The celluvisc is a little too thin for me for nighttime and a little too thick for daytime, but I did use it during the day immediately post-op. I find I have to make adjustments along the way to get things just right.

I have been using ointment at bedtime for these past 20 months. Used mostly Refresh PM ointment but it apparently is off the market. Been everywhere. The CVS brand has the same balance of ingredients but I've noticed recently that my eye bothers me at night time so I thought I'd better switch brands.

I don't know about the preservative stuff, but I use only Refresh PM eye ointment (I need something really soothing), or, I use Systane eye drops (as far as drops go, they're one of the thickest). The main issue here is protecting your cornea from damage, so see an opthamologist ASAP(if you haven't already), & keep your eye moist at all times.

For the past 4 years, due to my total facial paralysis, I use Refresh PM (lubricant) exclusively, all day & evening. At night, before sleep I have to wear the NightEye bubble bandage - it is a plastic bubble that adheres to the eye area to form a 'greenhouse' effect while I sleep to maintain moisture/protect my 'open eye' while laying down ...

I use Refresh PM lubricant in the morning before I drive to work & in the evening (during the day maybe once or twice). I use Refresh Celluvisc at my desk & carry Refresh Liquigel with me when I go to the units in case my eye gets dry while away from my desk. I tried the eye tape vertically, my eyelid popped open like K's.
