It just suddenly came on today. Refresh Liguigel is the name of the product and it is sold over the counter. My husband uses this throughout the day and the PM ointment at night. I have found the good prices for both Refresh Liguigel and PM at Bed, Bath and Beyond. Costco's price on Refresh PM is the best I have found.

I use either Refresh PM or Celluvisc gel drops during the day and Refresh PM at night. I tried GenTeal ointment, but it is a bit too runny and just ends up all over my face (whichi really isn't the look I'm going for ). I have a punctal plug which certainly helps, but even with that I have to lube my eye several times a day most days.

I use Refresh PM -- it is actually made to be used by anyone at night and then you should be able to see normal the next morning. I have acyually used it when my "good" eye is exceptionally tired & had no problems the next day so I don't see the need to "wash it out"...

I have been using ointment at bedtime for these past 20 months. Used mostly Refresh PM ointment but it apparently is off the market. Been everywhere. The CVS brand has the same balance of ingredients but I've noticed recently that my eye bothers me at night time so I thought I'd better switch brands.

Hi Karen: I still use Refresh PM eye lubricant every 2 hours or so, been doing it for over 2 years. I can feel when my cornea gets dry, my eye starts to burn. I've still got some 'tweaking' to do re: eye surgery to capture my tears. You do what you gotta do my friend. I don't know about the preservative stuff, but I use only Refresh PM eye ointment (I need something really soothing), or, I use Systane eye drops (as far as drops go, they're one of the thickest). The main issue here is protecting your cornea from damage, so see an opthamologist ASAP(if you haven't already), & keep your eye moist at all times.
