The lag is probably just really low framerates. 1) Make sure you are plugged in while gaming. 2) Make sure DLSS in the graphics settings is on. 3) Make sure everything related to ray tracing is off. There are a lot of indie games you can run, and maybe games like Civilization, but those big shooters aren't going to work. But In some laptops like HP 15 and Lenovo IdeaPad Slim 5 with same specs can run many AAA tiltles like Far Cry 5, Rage 2, Resident Evil 3, Battlefield 5, etc. In 1280×720 low settings in 30-50 fps.

First the issues. The 4k screen, while it does look amazing and playing games in 4k is a trip, it does impact the overall performance of the games. It also playes into another issue that when gaming in 4k, this sucker gets HOT. Particularly on the keyboard and palm rests. It gets to a point where I consider seeing if I can cook up some eggs on it.
