Hello, I am looking for the best free online virus scanner to check my computer for any hidden bugs, even though I do have Avast Internet Security installed, I want to cross check it with another scanner to make sure nothing has slipped by it.
I'm using Avast Pro Anti-virus 2015.10.0.2208, and Windows firewall. I verified that the firewall is set to allow the Canon IJ network utility to pass through. Canon support says (here goes the finger-pointing) that the anti-virus must be blocking the ports the scanner uses.

The CD would just make for an absolute virus-free platform to be running the scanner from. Still, it was the tiring work of two minutes to Google my way to a copy of that PE builder so if all else fails, I could just make a boot CD and stick the program on that.
