I have used the 30D in the past for small companies or remote branches. You could also get the FortiWifi 30F which is a firewall with built in wifi.

The simple answer is yes.I have two Ubiquiti switches, and 4 AP’s for my office which is an old 3 story home. I have one AP in our solely for our meeting room, which is a cement room with windows so not ideal for WiFi and it works great in there. Everything is super easy to setup and manage.
If you only need firewall/NAT features a $90 EdgeRouter Lite will be perfect for you, depending on your bandwidth (if you have 1 Gb/s then you should look at the ER-4 - under $300). If you need web filtering, you should look at adding a websense box or a PFSense with webfiltering.
