I use the usual NY Times website—but on an iPad!! I suspect on a desktop with a mouse, it would be faster. Sudoku Exchange is excellent. However, entering the given numerals on an iPad is not particularly easy. I had to learn a few techniques—and improve a few others—to get to approximately 2 minutes.

How long do you guys take to solve the NYtimes Sudoku online? Just For Fun. For easy I typically take ~1:30-2:15. For medium I typically take ~6:00-9:00. For hard I typically take ~6:00-12:00. There’s a fair variation for hard. My best times are maybe around 1:15 for easy, something like 5:30 for medium and hard.
I think sudoku is somewhat of an afterthought for the NYT. I mean they give it away for free. Their other games are the real money makers.
