MultiMC doesn't have a Minecraft.deb file at all. In fact the deb for MultiMC just holds some base files which is a script to download and extract a compressed file of multimc from the build server, a .desktop file and an icon. Whenever I try to run version 1.15 the game seems to just immediately crash on startup.
1.15 was less of a content update than the others. However, it was a great update for bug fixes, and mojang crushed a lot of bugs. I’d say it was a pretty good update, and it fixed a lot of lag problems from 1.13 and 1.14 as well. They are hosting a charity for bees.

We at Minecraft@Home have found the seeds for all of Minecraft's title-screen panorama backgrounds (from the 4 most recent updates). This includes "1.13 Update Aquatic", "1.14 Village & Pillage", "1.15 Buzzy Bees" and "1.16 Nether Update". SlicedLime is the new tech lead for Minecraft Java this Pic ties together what I see as good signs of things to come. This screenshot is from his YouTube channel and is of a ModPack that he's been playing on that utilizes new mobs and automation. I think it's great to have someone at the helm who can relate more to the Java community.
