Minute Clinic - $169 "Office Visit Fee"? I went to a CVS minute clinic a few weeks ago because I had flu-like symptoms. They tested me for covid and strep. Looking at the itemized bill, there is an office visit fee (office/outpatient, new patient, medium visit) of $169 of which there was a plan discount of ~$80 and so now I am being asked to pay the remaining $89. Does this look right?
Yes , minute clinic is like a mini urgent care. They have their own systems, appointments, and patients. The pharmacy is strictly for prescriptions and certain medications. The only time we really interact is when the prescriber at minute clinic sends over a prescription for their patient. But the pharmacy cannot access the minute clinics ...
I went to a local minute clinic this morning for a Strep test. At the end of my appointment the NP said I owed $180 for the visit. I got an appointment for Sunday April 18, but due to school work I need to cancel it and reschedule it. I've been looking at the cvs website but I can't find how to cancel it. When I made the appointment I got an email and it has the confirmation number, any way to cancel it online?

Horrible care at CVS Minute Clinic Hi All, Offering advice while also looking for it. My wife had an appointment with CVS minute clinic to get her ear wax removed. She doesn’t have health insurance but we were ready to pay the bill. We get to the clinic and the NP mentions that she doesn’t have much ear wax.
It seems like CVS should accept Medi-Cal based on what I’ve found but it is a little confusing to figure out… so is it legal for them to deny someone services for having Medi-Cal? TLDR: my friend got denied health care services at CVS Minute Clinic for potentially having Medi-Cal, despite being okay with being treated as an uninsured patient.
It’s cheaper than going to the ent, but wanna ask about the experience. you can just buy the debrox kit and do it yourself unless you have a crazy blockage that absolutely needs doctor attention 🤷🏼♀️. I had to do it once out of necessity. My ear was so blocked i was in excruciating pain.
