I think I've spent 500-1000 USD on valorant, but it's my main hobby/game that I play and have spent more than 1.5 thousand hours on, plus I get a lot of mileage of enjoyment out of the skins with all the time I spend playing (as I play on like, 7 different accounts 💀) and streaming the game on twitch.

I have spent around $50 of my own money and yesterday someone made a post in this sub and I "won" and he gave me a $35 valorant gift card so $85 total. Now I'm just waiting for the next night market. I wish I knew. I hope soon because I don't wanna spend it on regularly priced skins XD.
I think im around the $150 mark.. but im not checking for my own peace of mind. I have some friends who have spent $500+. I’ve played since beta and i don’t wanna know. Definitely not as much as some people but for sure more than most. I have 2 accounts that i have skins on and total I’ve probably spent $600-$1000.
well technically it's not my own money but i would say about 50 dollars. $60, Oni Phantom, Reaver Vandal, Two Battle Passes and I’m about to spend more with this coming night market. 200+. Radiant crisis 001 phantom, spectrum phantom, rgx vandal, sovereign ghost, sol sheriff, reaver knife and celestial fan.
idiotdroid. Probably about $500. Maybe more. Skins are kind of expensive in this game. Knives that are over 4000 credits which forces you to spend $50. $50 for a knife lol. But I am dumb and buy them. The problem with valorant is just about everything is overpriced and not re-sellable like it would be on steam.
And just like OP said, you can calculate the amount of money you spend on it with the amount of time you've spent playing. 1 euro (or dollar) = 1h of playing. I have now spent money on 2 battlepasses and 3 1775 skins. So, 7325 VP aka 73 euros. Which is way less than the time I've played on it. And I think this is resonable for someone you loves ...
