Dental benefits. The Virginia Department of Medical Assistance Services (DMAS) now offers comprehensive dental services for all Medicaid members. This benefit is a response to the needs of our members and a recognition of the importance of oral health in achieving positive overall health outcomes.
Adults (ages 21+ for Medicaid and ages 20+ for CHIP) can get covered services, including: Dental restorative services (fillings, implants and crowns), with a $2000 per member per two benefit year limit (Medicaid members). Benefit year begins annually on July 1.
