Ok so i was installing winrar from the official site and when i install it windows defender sys it is a virus called wannadecrypt. I have removed it but i need winrar for most things. I have never used a Windows computer in decades so pardon any obvious question here but let's say I downloaded. this App, and it unzips to reveal the Application and several associated .DLL application Extensions. What do i need . to "Do" to get this properly installed.

Hi, i downloaded Winrar a few months ago to extract .rar files, but I think I downloaded a fake and now I can't delete it. It caused 3 unwanted apps to be downloaded, I did not choose to download them and I was unaware until the app showed up.
