    You might right click your desktop and select New.. Folder and leave it unnamed - then right click that folder and select Properties you will see a change icon button... and it will show the path to the icon that your new folder is using. There are some programs that will extract the .ico's .

When the location services arrow shows up briefly in the system icons area, all the application icons in the taskbar shift to the left. This must be a Windows problem as it occurs consistently across four entirely different computers I'm using.

    The icons for some of the folders stayed as they were, but some changed to a simple brown folder icon: Of the brightly coloured folders, the only one that changed was the green "Downloads" folder, which changed to a plain brown folder icon. I was able to change this back to the default green-coloured folder icon using the "Customise" option.

    Thank you for the additional information. While working on creating a shortcut in the app, I discovered you can ask Siri "Open Location Services" and it will open right to the screen that you're wanting, so you can turn it on and off.
